Todd Treweek - Construction Supervisor

Todd Treweek joined Mexted Sports Turf in 2022 bringing extensive experience in sports field construction and renovation, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the NZ thoroughbred racing industry. Todd leads a team at Mexteds focusing on seasonal renovations and construction projects. His passion for the sports turf industry - from design through to implementation and training - is a strong asset for the company as we expand our operations.
Brent Dornan - Team Leader

Brent is a key member of our Construction Team, with many years of experience working for Mexteds under his belt. He is a first class operator and a mentor to the newer members of the team.
Peter Mortensen - Sports Turf Operator

With a farming background, it's no surprise that Peter has plenty of experience with tractors.  At Mexteds, these skills are put to good use, especially with undersowing, sand spreading and decompaction work.

Max Behle - Operator/Irrigation technician

Max has a Bachelor of Science in Production and Management of Horticulture  with experience  in managing a Turf Research Farm in the USA. At Mexteds he works primarily for our Irrigation team, installing and maintaining sports turf irrigation systems.
Linford Rota - Sports Turf Operator

Linford Rota is a qualified sports turf specialist who joined Mexteds to further his skills within the industry, having previously worked as a turf assistant/groundsman at Sky Stadium and the Basin Reserve in Wellington.
He is embracing the opportunities of learning to operate a range of equipment used in our sports turf construction work.  
Matt Waldin - SISGrass Technician

Matt Waldin’s technical and problem solving skills have seen him embrace the challenge of running Mexteds’ SISGrass stitching machine - work that takes him to different sports parks and stadiums around New Zealand and in Australia.
Matt has a Bachelor in Computer Science and came to Mexteds following an earlier career repairing and installing ATM machines both here and in the USA.
Anthony Bryant - Project Lead

After several years working with our Hutt Valley Maintenance team as a groundsman and contract supervisor, and completing his sports turf apprenticeship with Te Pukenga, Anthony is now working more broadly in the business as a Project Lead, and providing support to our stitching and irrigation crews as well.
Dale Sabbagh - Sports Turf Operator

Dale Sabbagh joined Mexteds’ construction crew in 2023, bringing plenty of experience from his previous work in landscaping, contracting and installing artificial turf. Outside of work his sporting interests lie in playing rugby, most recently in the premiership league with the Paremata Plimmerton RFC.
Rupe Samuel - Driver / Operator

Rupe has joined our construction team driving plant and materials to site, with plenty of driving experience under his belt, having previously been employed in the furniture removal trade.
His sporting interests lie in Rugby League.
Louis Monk - Sports Turf Operator

Louis Monk has had a wide range of experience operating heavy machinery including loaders and diggers as well as truck driving, following an earlier career as a commercial fisherman. Louis enjoys a challenge, and with his outgoing personality has quickly become an integral member of our busy sports turf construction crew.
Sean Kelly - Sports Turf Operator

​Sean joined Mexteds in 2024, bringing extensive experience in agricultural contracting, earthworks, farming and engineering. His operating knowledge is a valuable addition to our construction team's skills base.
