Todd Treweek - Construction Supervisor

Todd Treweek joined Mexted Sports Turf in 2022 bringing extensive experience in sports field construction and renovation, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the NZ thoroughbred racing industry. Todd leads a team at Mexteds focusing on seasonal renovations and construction projects. His passion for the sports turf industry - from design through to implementation and training - is a strong asset for the company as we expand our operations.
Brent Dornan - Team Leader

Brent is a key member of our Construction Team, with many years of experience working for Mexteds under his belt. He is a first class operator and a mentor to the newer members of the team.
Peter Mortensen - Sports Turf Operator

With a farming background, it's no surprise that Peter has plenty of experience with tractors.  At Mexteds, these skills are put to good use, especially with undersowing, sand spreading and decompaction work.

Max Behle - Irrigation technician

Max has a Bachelor of Science in Production and Management of Horticulture  with experience  in managing a Turf Research Farm in the USA. At Mexteds he works primarily for our Irrigation team, installing and maintaining sports turf irrigation systems.
Anthony Bryant - Project Lead

After several years working with our Hutt Valley Maintenance team as a groundsman and contract supervisor, and completing his sports turf apprenticeship with Te Pukenga, Anthony is now working more broadly in the business as a Project Lead, and providing support to our stitching and irrigation crews as well.
Dale Sabbagh - Sports Turf Operator

Dale Sabbagh joined Mexteds’ construction crew in 2023, bringing plenty of experience from his previous work in landscaping, contracting and installing artificial turf. Outside of work his sporting interests lie in playing rugby, most recently in the premiership league with the Paremata Plimmerton RFC.
Rupe Samuel - Sports Turf Operator

Rupe joined Mexteds as a driver, transporting our equipment from job to job. 
With his great 'can do' attitude he has upskilled to operating a wide range of our sports turf equipment to become a versatile member of the team, including support for our Maintenance crew.
Louis Monk - Sports Turf Operator

Louis Monk has had a extensive experience operating heavy machinery including loaders and diggers as well as truck driving, following an earlier career as a commercial fisherman. Louis enjoys a challenge, and with his outgoing personality has quickly become an integral member of our busy sports turf construction crew.

Sean Kelly - Sports Turf Operator

​Sean joined Mexteds in 2024, bringing extensive experience in agricultural contracting, earthworks, farming and engineering. His tractor skills are put to good use and he also operates our SISGrass stitching machine at venues all around the motu.
Jamayne Kitiseni - Sports Turf Operator

Jamayne is an experienced tractor operator, with several years experience working for Mexteds under his belt.
​He is regularly involved in drainage jobs, operating our trenchers and other plant and machinery.

​Glenn Terry - Sports Turf Operator

Glenn has a background in landscaping, having run his own business before joining Mexteds.

As well as general operations as part of our Construction team, his key focus area at Mexteds is irrigation, supporting our Irrigation Technician.
Josh Te Moana - Sports Turf Operator

Josh has had two stints working for Mexteds, with a couple of years in between as a FIFO worker in the Australian mining industry.

Josh's diverse operating skills are put to good use as a core member of our Operations team.
