Josh Dewar - Contract Supervisor
Josh is our Contract Manager, leading our Hutt City Maintenance team and liaising with Hutt City Council. Josh did his apprenticeship on a golf course, before working as a grounds man for Wellington City Council for five years, dealing with stakeholders such as the Phoenix and Hurricanes. Josh is a keen golfer and rugby player. |

Matt Goulden - Operational Supervisor
Matt joined Mexted Sports Turf as Operational Supervisor on our Hutt City Coumcil sports turf maintenance contract in 2024. Matt has a wide range of turf maintenance experience, having previously completed his sports turf apprenticeship with Kāpiti Coast District Council. Outside of work he plays football in winter and cricket in summer, while also enjoying a round of golf. |

Jo Davey - Contract Administrator
Jo is closely involved in the administrative delivery of our Hutt City Sports Park Contract, where her exceptional attention to detail keeps the wheels turning smoothly. She juggles the park bookings, keeps a close eye on health and safety matters and looks after the requirements of our Hutt Maintenance crew. |

Dev is the Contract Administrator for our Hutt City Sports Parks contract. Dev has a strong focus on process improvement using her technology skills to drive data analytics and reporting on the contract deliverables. |

Tom Davie - Cricket Preparation Specialist
Tom is based at the Wellington High Performance Indoor Cricket Training Centre at Wellington College, a facility Mexteds looks after for New Zealand Cricket and Cricket Wellington. |

Kevin Wakefield - Groundsman
Kevin is a highly experienced Groundsman, primarily based at Petone Rec, and also looking after Memorial, Sladden and North Parks. With his unparalleled knowledge of Hutt City's parks, he takes pride in presenting playing surfaces to the highest standards. In 2024, as Groundsman at Hutt Rec, he won Cricket Ground of the Year for the fourth time, an outstanding achievement. Kevin has a Level 4 Sports Turf Management qualification. |

Mitch Fowell - Groundsman
Mitch joined Mexteds in 2020 as a mowing operator and now works as a Groundsman at Te Whiti and Eastbourne parks, as part of our Hutt Maintenance team. He is the Koro of the team, guiding our younger staff and keeping spirits high with his great sense of humour. |

Tawera Tito - Groundsman
Tawera began his Groundsman career with Mexteds looking after Naenae and Delaney Parks. He is now responsible for maintaining Wainuiomata's sports fields, including the William Jones sand carpet field. Outside of work, he's a keen sportsman, playing hockey, soccer, tennis and basketball, and also enjoys a round of golf. |

Charlie Stagg - Groundsman
Charlie joined our maintenance team in 2024 straight from school, and is learning the trade as an apprentice Groundsman at Fraser and Riverside Parks. Charlie is a keen follower of all sports. |

Angus Blair - Groundsman
Angus is our Groundsman at Delaney and Naenae parks, where he is learning the trade having joined us following several months as a Gateway programme intern. Angus is a dirt bike enthusiast, taking part in events around the country. |

Wayne Freeman - Croquet lawns and artificial turfs
Wayne joined Mexteds after a long career in the Royal New Zealand Navy as a chief engineer. His prime responsibility is mowing croquet lawns and maintaining artificial turfs in the Hutt Valley. |
