Rugby Goal Post Shifter
Mexteds designed and built the Hurri-Shifter goal post lifter for the rapid lifting and relocation of rugby goal posts. The system helps councils and schools meet health and safety requirements during code changeovers, offering a safe and efficient method of clamping, lifting and lowering the unwieldy posts to the ground, ready for dismantling. |

Portable cricket wickets
Ahead of the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, Mexteds was engaged over spring to build and install an extra portable wicket block at Westpac Stadium, Wellington. We installed a rock layer in the galvanised tray to form the base, topped with layers of compacted clay to create a third portable wicket. In preparation for a match, a sand-based tray from the centre of the stadium is uplifted and replaced by the portable wicket block. The sand-based turf then becomes part of the outfield. |

After the concert
Mexteds is often involved in putting venues to rights, be it when the circus comes to town, or a popular band. Mexteds moves on site to plane and prepare the surface, before vertidraining the compacted ground, laying new turf and sweeping the concert area. |
