Playing fields at Karori Park have had a drainage upgrade over the autumn and early winter as we gravel banded the entire six hectare park for Wellington City Council.
We’ve also installed primary drainage and irrigation into the new #5 cricket field.
Come Spring we’ll be back to spread sand, helping to protect the gravel bands and keep the secondary drainage functioning well without contamination from surrounding clay particles.
