‘King Dick’ Seddon kept a watchful eye on Mexteds’ operators as the green sward in front of Parliament was given a makeover earlier this year. Following a turf sprayoff, Mexteds carried out a number of verticuts to remove thatch and aerate the soil and cleaned up the surface with the turf sweeper, before drilling and dimple seeding.
