With the Football Federation Australia and the Wellington Phoenix having agreed to a 10-year-deal for the extension of the club's A-League licence, Mexteds staff are busy getting the Phoenix's practice grounds into tip top shape at Martin Luckie park, Berhampore. Stage 1 of the work on the two full size fields included drainage and irrigation installation. Over the next few weeks we're working on stage 2 of the upgrade, planing the surfaces, laser grading and sand slitting, before sand carpetting and sowing. The ground will be ready for the Yellow Fever to swing into action in Spring. |

sooo does this mean locals are still able to use the park all the time? Will there be a fence put up to keep anyone who isn't Phoenix player out? What about the families who always spend time their walking their dogs? Is that still able to happen in our local park? Comments are closed.
